What is a recall?

While recalls may seem inconvenient, they’re crucial for driver and passenger safety. A recall is put into effect if a manufacturer or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has found a vehicle to be unsafe in some way. Recall notices are sent to those who purchased the vehicle in question, informing them that an element of the car is unsafe and action will need to be taken. The manufacturer must correct the issue at no cost to the vehicle owners. If your vehicle has an open recall, just make an appointment with our service department, and our team will repair or replace the recalled part in no time.

What is NHTSA?

The NHTSA is the federal agency responsible for vehicle safety in the United States. This administration provides vehicle safety ratings, helping consumers make informed decisions about which models will provide the most protection on the roads. Their goal is to reduce fatalities, injuries and costs due to road traffic crashes by providing education, conducting research and enforcing safety standards that must be upheld industry-wide.
